So I went looking around all the legal station schedules, none of the major players has anything on this frequency at this hour, which kind of leads me to believe this is a pirate. If so; they either transmit close by or have a booming signal, S9+25dB at my house on the hills. It's blaring Alex Jones though. Attachments:

What was the time? someone has purchased time on this frequency from MBR/DTK from 23:30 - 00:30 utc (although on further investigation that seems to be in digital). Maybe its from the reactivated Okeechobee site.

Maybe its from the reactivated Okeechobee site. This was screen-capped at 03:00 UTC. It kind of makes sense though; everything comes together after reading this: mt-shortwave.blogspot.com/2013/11/wyfr-facility-to-return-to-shortwave-as.html. I don't think Alex Jones constitutes as "Family Radio" though; but rented time would explain that away fairly quickly.

I've been wondering about this ever since you posted it. I have still seen no user on 7240 at 3:00 that would explain it. Perhaps its a mixing product. The buffoon Jones is on several frequencies at that time but I don't have a good list of the exact freqs to do the math & figure out how it arrived at your receiver.

The only other freq I've heard him on before this was around 12160 on the Twente webSDR, but that was a programming mishap on a good day for TXing. I'm thinking this was a pirate transmission, and I skimmed over the paragraph that I linked to earlier about programming specific to South America and the Caribbean. Of course, rented time is still plausible.
