Btw Marcel, MDZhB is not a station callsign, it is a group callsign for recipients of the message (group of military units).

Btw Marcel, MDZhB is not a station callsign, it is a group callsign for recipients of the message (group of military units). So, I assume the actual callsign for The Buzzer itself is UVB-76 then?

I took a screencap of the signal at about 2.50am GMT and it almost looks like it is onfire? I will let you see.

OBG2014 update nr. 18: Date/Time: | 2014-02-09/22:15z | Remarks: | Delay regarding update was due to illness.
| Messages: | No messages have been broadcasted since last update.
| Update: | MDZhB is transmitting in R3E, though rather weak. Carrier signal strength is a weak S7, buzzer signal strength is S9. The oddity reported in OBG2014 update nr. 17 has ceased to exist on date 2014-02-08, time unknown. Origin of this mysterious "helicopter-signal" is still unclear. 1 further oddity has been observed: MDZhB has reduced its pitch once again. This could again indicate power problems at the transmitter site.

Snake signal near buzzer, seems to be in line with buzzes. May be unrelated
